Tiny House Mountain Top Retreat with Room to Grow

Amanda and Adam came to us with a special request…. they wanted us to build their new Tiny House, mountain top retreat, with room to grow!  Now some may wonder why grow?  Well they are expecting their first child any day!  What a better way to introduce their new tiny baby to the world by living in a new Tiny House!

The first thing you sense as you walk through the rear french doors is a feeling of warmth and of being home!  This breathtaking, custom, 35′ Carpathian model represents all the comforts and amenities of a residential home, but gives you the freedom to live where and how you want.  You can be as close or as far away from civilization as your hearts desire.

The rear living area has 2 – 6 ft. slide-outs across from each other.  When they are both opened up it gives them a living space that is roughly 14 ft wide!  More than enough space to live “tiny” but still live large.  For this unit, one of the slide-outs has a custom couch bench built into it with open storage below.

Being in kitchen you would never even know you were in a tiny house!  With a custom built 6 ft long pantry to all stainless steel appliances and Corian counter top , this is the perfect place to cook a gourmet meal or something quick on the go.

Some might wonder about sleeping space in a tiny house…. no need to worry here!  This tiny boasts an impressive front goose neck bedroom with 2 – 6 ft slide-outs across from each other.  This area also has a bonus loft area that is built above the bathroom, making this area perfect spot for storage, or for your little one to be close , in an area custom built just for them.

Along with the front bedroom this tiny house also has an 8 ft loft over the living area in the back, giving you the ability to create a space that can be designed to fit whatever need you have!

On the main level of this tiny you will be able to soak the stresses of your day away  in the 60″ tub/shower.  What a way to relax!

The exterior of this unit has an 8 ft. electric awing covering the french doors and just really sets this unit apart.

What’s your dream tiny house look like?  Let us help bring your vision to reality!

Spacious Family Friendly Tiny House

This custom built 38′ Carpathian model is an extremely spacious, family friendly, Tiny House RV, that defines beauty!   This Tiny offers 350-square-feet of luxurious tiny living (not including loft area), a 13 ft. slide-out in living/kitchen area and an 6 ft. slide-out in the rear and  is one of the best we have built!

The inviting living room,  fully custom kitchen and beautiful craftsmanship from end to end, makes this Tiny truly spectacular! It’s fully appointed with three spacious bedrooms, which include a three bunk area, an 8 ft. loft with a queen size bed platform and a  7 ft. goose-neck bedroom with a full size bed platform.  This stunning, family Tiny House, can sleep up  to 7 and give everyone the space and freedom to roam.

The kitchen features Wilsonart, Calcutta Marble, laminate counter-tops, a metal & glass title back-splash, custom built cabinetry, a 33″ white farm sink with  oil rubbed bronze faucet, Vesta dishwasher, four burner, stainless steel, free standing gas range, and full size, stainless steel refrigerator make this kitchen as functional as it is beautiful!

Luxury Congoleum RV flooring and white washed pine walls are only made cozier by the reclaimed wood accents walls and custom barn doors throughout. Turn on the electric fireplace, surrounded by faux stone walls, and you will feel like you are on vacation.

In the bathroom you’ll find an inviting claw foot tub that was just made for relaxing.  Along with the pedestal sink and impressive oil rubbed bronze sink and tub faucets, it will give you the atmosphere of a spa.  But lets not forget everyday functionality as we have incorporated a washer/dryer combo unit with plenty of storage above and a pull out ironing board that can be discretely tuck away.

On the exterior we have added an 18 ft. electric awning over double french doors with built in blinds.  Imagine yourself sitting on the 7 ft. pull out porch enjoying your favorite beverage as you enjoy your new Tiny life adventure.

All these breathtaking details combined, make this tiny house what you and your family have been looking for!

It features beautiful cedar trimmed exterior, white washed pine interior, spacious L shaped kitchen with lots of cabinets for storage and 2 lofts – one sleeping loft that is 8′ and a 5′ storage loft.

Tiny House Living Build Yours Today

We’d love to  introduce  Linda’s Tiny House living space.

Clear Creek, is one of Tiny Idahomes most popular builds.  Linda is beyond thrilled  and couldn’t wait to experience tiny living in her new stunning space.

Linda decided on a 26′ Clear Creek Tiny Home RV after deciding change was necessary. Linda wanted to be closer to her husband Paul of over 20 years. Paul was admitted in a nursing home and  after months of having to travel 6 hours a day Linda decided to sell her home. Now, Linda can spend less time traveling to get Paul to his doctor appointments and more time with him & enjoying her new space.

We asked Linda why she chose Tiny Idahomes as her builder and this is what she had to say; ” After taking a tour in your factory I noticed the great workmanship & I was impressed. But, it wasn’t until I had questions and Tiny Idahomes was very personal about accommodating all the changes I wanted to make. They are just amazing about communication and making me feel I made the perfect decision. I would highly recommend them to everyone.”

Below you’ll see her spacious bright and airy Clear Creek home.

Linda is happy to be closer to Paul and feels right at home in Emmett, Idaho.

We thoroughly enjoyed being there with her through every step of the process, from her design, color combinations, picking options, to her completed “home”.

Thank you for allowing us the pleasure of working with you and for trusting us as your tiny house on wheels RV builder!

Downsizing -Learning to Let Go

Learning to let go is one of the biggest obstacles to downsizing. Deciding what should stay and what should go is hard!  We are drowning in our clutter wondering why we are feeling stressed, exhausted, and overwhelmed.

Taking an inventory of your possessions and prioritizing them are major steps in downsizing your life.  Downsizing is emotional, all those memories and attachments are hard to let go of. If you really take inventory of what you need. Ask yourself some key questions.  You can let go and be free of possessions.  Here are some useful tips to get the process started.

When you are considering an item ask yourself the following questions:

  • How often do I use this? If you have not touched it in 6 months and it is not a seasonal item, then remove it from your life.
  • Would you pay to replace it? If it was lost, stolen, or destroyed would you pay to replace the item?
  • Are you saving it for someone else? Family heirloom you want to pass down? What are you waiting for?  You could give the item and experience them enjoying it.

Now that you have these questions in mind pick a room and set up three piles.  Toss. Keep. Maybe. Be mindful of the “maybe” pile, if it starts getting bigger than the other piles, remove it and give yourself only two options.  You should also consider a donation pile. In most cases, you can call local thrift stores and ask if they come and pick up donations. Consider holding a garage sale, offering items on craigslist or on eBay.  By tackling one room at a time you maintain focus and have a sense of accomplishment.

Consider asking for help from children or relatives. If you have children most of the stuff is probably related to them anyway, so why not get them involved. One of the biggest obstacles is sentimental objects. If you are keeping things for your kids, ask them if they want them, or better yet give them to them now if possible.  If you are someone who has kept every school project, baby outfit, girl scout uniform ask yourself if you are keeping it for you or them?  Consider taking a picture of the item and keeping it instead. It is the memories you are holding on to, not the actual item.

Do not agonize over the process.  Pour yourself some wine, set a timer and just begin.  Take breaks and keep your time blocks manageable, 2 hours or less.  Embrace what is truly valuable to you. Make every possession a conscious choice in your life. Believe it or not, you will start to feel lighter and freer as you let go.

Downsizing is a chore, but once the work is done you will have a sense of accomplishment and pride in your space.  Moving forward, remember to ask yourself the following before adding anything new:

  • Will this add value?
  • Does it bring me peace, joy, or purpose?

What are you waiting for?  Start your downsizing your life now.

Downsizing Reminder tips:
  1. Involve relatives
  2. Give away now
  3. One space at a time
  4. Use a timer
  5. Keep, toss, maybe or donation piles
  6. Garage sales, craigslist or eBay items
