Tiny Idahomes latest build the Zamora Vardo made the paper.

Tiny Idahomes just completed another build and one of the most unique builds we have ever done. The owners call it the Zamora Vardo and plan to take on on a wellness tour across the country with many stops in multiple states. Tiny Idahomes did very well at trying to match the couples ideas and drawing as close as possible and fitting everything in a small area. We installed old family antiques into the Tiny house RV, and kept this build with the lowest possible chemical usage as requested by the owners. I will publish a list of the chemicals used as soon as finished as we are very impressed by how low it is.  This was the very first Tiny house RV that we have installed a built in rain harvest system into the roof, and a slide out patio along with many other features. The exterior of this build has charred cedar with rusted metal bottom, and a very custom dutch door. here are a few pictures and a link to the first of many news paper articles on the couple and their custom Tiny house RV.
More details and specs about the TIny House RV will be posted soon.

RVIA certification

Since we have opened our doors I have focused on becoming RVIA certified, to benefit our customers and product. There are lots of rumors and myths pertaining to RVIA certification, but I would like to clear up the biggest one. It is not a Requirement, you do not need it to get a loan, to travel with your RV, or get insurance. It is a code certification group we as builders decide we want to be involved with, and yes there are other certification companies out there that are very good companies. Some Parks, or certain places can decide if they want to require a particular certification company, and  turn away other certifications. That is their right just like it is your right to decide to stay at that park, keep in mind the owner of that RV park has insurance and it may not cover RV’s that are not certified. RVIA is the most widely know and recognized certification company, and we at Tiny Idahomes wanted the to be able to give our customers the same rights as any RV owner has, be able to stay at any RV park that any other RV owner can. We have been trying to prove that our Tiny Idahomes product is no different than any other RV that is going down the highway, and have been pursuing this certification for the past 9 months. Well we are happy to announce that we are now RVIA certified and can certify our products we sell to the general public. Thank you to everyone for your support and we look forward to making our customers dreams come true for years to come.

Betty’s “Little Shack out Back”

Betty came to us wanting to build a vision of a tiny house she had.  She was looking for a “Refined Rustic Cottage” look and had very great  ideas on how she wanted everything to look.  We took all her ideas and drawings and brought them to life.  Building this and working with Betty was a pure delight.

Betty decided on the 24″ Cascade model as she was looking for a tiny house without lofts.  She used the design of her floor plan to put more of an emphasis on space separation to go along with the cottage feel she was looking for.

Thank you Betty for choosing us to build your refined rustic cottage for you!  We just can’t wait to see all the décor ideas you have.  ENJOY!
